BMW Motorrad India recently launched the latest iteration of the S 1000 RR in India. Its asking price is Rs 20,25,000 (ex-showroom Delhi) for the entry-level model and goes to Rs 24,45,000 for the Pro M Sport trim. Let’s take a look at the Bavarian supersport through these detailed images.

While the silhouette looks unaltered at first sight, the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR has received minor changes on the front end.The fascia not only looks more aggressive but the split LED headlights are now topped by a larger windscreen. The latter has been done for better wind deflection.

Moreover, BMW has also equipped the S 1000 RR with winglets as standard on all the models and are claimed to offer 10kg downforce. Even the rear section has been altered by a margin and now looks sleeker than before.
Powering the 2023 BMW S 1000 RR is an inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled 999cc motor with the output rated at 210bhp and 113Nm. The engine is nestled in a cast aluminum frame and mated to a six-speed gearbox.

BMW has added new rider aids as well to the updated S 1000 RR. It features dual-channel ABS, traction control, four riding modes (rain, road, dynamic, and race), a bi-directional quickshifter, a 6.5-inch TFT screen, and more. BMW also offers a boatload of other features like pit lane limiter, cruise control, heated grips, wheelie control, slide control, and more as optional add-ons.
